Description:   ***SPECIAL ORDER****. VERY RARE*****

Here is a special order Hobie Phil Edwards Signature “Competition” board…. Its uniqueness is several.  It has an extra wide balsa redwood “T”band center stringer.   Mostly all the modern re-creations were triple redwood stringers, and the board was all clear foam.  The coloring is yellow throughout with a red diagonal competition band.   Phil Edwards Signature is on the balsa stringer as well as the serial #2969.  You’ll notice there is a Bunger Surf Shop sticker down by the tail, because this Special-Order surfboard was ordered and delivered to the Bunger surf shop.  This board was used, hence the condition 8 -8.5 but very much iconic.  This board can be ridden or hung on the wall or both.  But for only $1,000 don’t wait.  This is a “Buy Now” and might not be there tomorrow.  Thank you, Mr. Phil Edwards, for shaping such a wonderful surfboard.
