Here is a regal and majestic full-on Balsa/ Redwood Waimea Elephant Gun under the Surfboard Hawaii label.  The only one made under the watchful eye of the late Ed Clap, owner of Surfboard Hawaii.  This board was a specifically made for Surf Legends USA.  It has 5 strips of redwood, 8 strips of balsa with a redwood nose and tail block.   On the center redwood stringer on the bottom of the board it says “Waimea Gun” and down by the tail “Shaped in 04 for Surf Legends”.  The glass on redwood halo fin is identical to the fins made for the Surfboard Hawaii Guns in the 60’s .  The dimensions, shape, and feel of this exquisite spear is historically and periodically correct as it was in the 60’s.
