This great looking Greg Noll Mickey Dora Da Cat #71 came to us from Southern California where it hung proudly for nearly 30 years.  Its bright vibrant floral nose burst with color in the direct sun light. The floral pattern and rails are outlined in red and black.  It has its classic 1/8 redwood center stringer and perfect Da Cat logos surrounded by clear reveal foam.   The bottom is all clear bright foam with Greg’s signature saying “Shaped by Greg Noll” 71/250 and has its glassed-on signature black Da Cat fin.  In the book “Art of the Surfboard” pg. 104 -113, Greg speaks about the re-Creation Da Cats and how Micky and he decided to make the limited run of 250 in 1992.   Greg and Mickey were true Mavericks by every sense of the word.   Truly Iconic….  These boards are truly rare with only 250 in the world.  In our last auction we sold one for $12,500, so we feel our pre auction estimate is spot on..   Good luck to all bidders and    Congratulations in advance to the new owner..
