Description: FROM OCEANSIDE CALIFORNIA! SPECIAL ORDER! HAND SHAPED BY DONALD TAKAYAMA! NO RESERVE!
This specialty made surf craft Hawaiian Pro Design D.T.1 thruster was a special order tinted in Sea Glass foam. This surfboard has the classic “surf boards by Donald Takayama” hibiscus logo on the upper deck and special design bird logo further down the deck with Donald Takeyama’s signature above the “T” band stringer. It has the classic script Hawaiian Pro Designs in black on the rails as well as on the tear drop outline on the bottom of the board. It has the original clear transparent fins perfectly situated. A new board like this would cost around $2,000, but obviously not shaped by Donald, RIP. Mr. Takayama learned how to surf in Waikiki and moved to California mid 1950s. Here is your chance to own a piece of Hawaii and California history to hang in your beach house, ride when the waves are up, or simply do both. But you need to be the high bidder to do it. Good luck!!
