Here it is, the only one in the show.  A 1967 Hobie Team board standing at 10’1.  Not your typical stock Hobie.  This baby has thin rails, rocker, performance shape, and a removal cut out bolt through swept back fin.  The board is all clear throughout with some heel compressions on the deck.  The rail-to-rail extra-large Hobie logo is perfect.  The serial number “36219” on the balsa stringer is extremely clear.  Balsa was used instead of redwood for the center stringer for flex and to save a couple of pounds to help enhance performance.   The added pinstripes of Sea foam green and Ocean blue certainly compliment the board but are NOT factory.   If you’re a Hobie collector, or you’re looking to stand out in the crowd by looks and performance, then this is the board for you.   Hang it, ride it, or both but don’t let it get away..
