This highly inspirational Cedar Strip Hot Curl was hand shaped by local Master Craftsman, Bill Simon.   It was templated off an original 1930’s George Downing and Wally Froiseth Hot Curl from a high-end collector on Maui and the only templated Re-Creation from this board.  In the photo gallery there are several photos listed of the board being built in the late 30’s by George and Wally and in the collector’s quiver as it stands today.  This Hot Curl was stained to have the same appearance as the original.  This board is an absolute bargain for $1,750.  You can’t even buy the wood and have it glued up for this price.  So, to get this Hot Curl with the template historically correct is the deal of the Summer.
