Here are three surfboards from the 80’s all with strong Floridian roots and vibrant colors from the times and here they are:

The CB challenger, hailing from New Smyna Beach standing at 5’8, condition 9 out 10 with serial number 2307.1577 CB.  Beautiful yellow deck, with great red lettering for the C B Challenger III logo and design throughout the deck.  This is a “Competitive Edge” model “TEAM RIDER”, hand shaped by Charley Baldwin.  The bottom is clear with channels highlighted in yellow, double Competitive Edge logos, and glassed on tri fin thruster set up.

The Sunrise surfboard standing at 5’9 ½ and screams “Radtastic”, with its vibrant sunburst of color.  Highlighted on the deck with the Sunrise logo, offset Channel Hull logos and checker flag racing stripes.  75% of the bottom has the 1980’s style channel Hull with dual logos, classic glass on twin fins that are blue on the inside and white on the outside pin lined in yellow and blue.   Boards like this were quite common in the Surf Competitions from North Carolina to Florida throughout the 80’s

MTB Pro Am stands at 5’8, serial # 2586   25, condition 8 out of 10.   Clear deck accented with blue racing stripes surrounding to sea foam green with “7” MTB logos.  The bottom has a sunburst fade color scheme accenting the dual Channel Hull, glassed on twin fins with a removable fin thruster set up.
