A Gerry Lopez “Pipeliner” Lightning Bolt is up for grabs!

One of the most highly regarded surfers from the 70’s to surf Pipeline with such poise is now one of the most popular surfers in the world today.  We are so fortunate to have this 7’4" Gerry Lopez Lightning bolt in our auction.   This gem has gone through a full glass off restoration-by-restoration specialists Randy Rarick.   Known for his expertise and tenacious craftmanship on keeping everything he does historically correct.  The lightning bolt on this board is the same size and color as it was originally.  The board has a virgin white opaque glass job with no foam damage showing.  You can clearly see LOPEZ signature on the foam by the stringer under the glass, with the unique black Lopez anagram design next to it.  The glass on black and white fin is the perfect complement to match the color scheme of the board and its functionality to ride PIPE!

No surprise to the limelight, Mr. Pipeliner can be seen in Movies such as Conan the Barbarian, North Shore, and Big Wednesday …cutting forward to his own Documentary the Ying and the Yang.  If you’re looking to own an incredible piece of surf history by two Masters of their own craft, Gerry Lopez and Randy Rarick, then this board is for you.   This amazing surfboard is hung proudly at the North Shore Surf Shop in paradise.   This board is up at no reserve and will be going to its next home.  Good luck!
