Description:    VERY RARE!   “1 OF 1” RANDY RARICK “BUDMAN” SURF LINE Hawaii SURFBOARD! 

Here is Randy Rarick’s personal rider for his favorite spot at Sunset Beach.  Loaded with Provenance and signatures.   This 8’2 Sunset Gun was hand shaped by Randy Rarick under the label of Surf Line Hawaii with his exclusive Seahorse logo with Butterfly wings.  The board has the original airbrush work by Russ Brown of “RussAir”.  All the dings have been professionally fixed and a full refurbish has brought this board back to like new condition. The deck of the board has Randy’s image of “BUDMAN” with his signature to the left “Randy Rarick -Sunset Beach 1977 !!”  

Back in the day, Randy would throw a huge Halloween party every year, (one of the story lines from the movie, “North Shore) and for a number of years his costume was that of “Bud Man".  And so we are told, was the consumate host and the life of the party.  Check out the video and photos!   The airbrush work throughout the board is still in superb condition!   The imagery from the 70’s is spot on !  The pictures speak a thousand words.   Take a look.

Randy Rarick’s list of accomplishments and skill are many.  From being a professional surfer, Team rider for Dewey Weber, being 1 of 24 invited to the prestigious Duke invitational events,  and competed in countless North Shore surfing events, to being the director of the Triple Crown since inception for 30 years and being inducted in the Surfing Hall Fame in 2014.  Randy is also a shaper, Restoration Specialist, and Surfboard Historian.  Google this man’s name, grab a BUD and be prepared to learn a wealth of knowledge.  Randy is one of the nicest and honest people you can meet, extremely genuine and basically, he is “Everything surfing”.  This Iconic surfboard is proudly displayed at North Shore Surf Shop in Haleiwa Oahu, Hawaii.  The winner of this board can also request to have Randy Rarick personally sign the board to you.    Good luck to all bidders and ALOHA!
