Description:    HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT FOR THE 70’S AND LOCAL MOTION!

Here is a hand shaped Rob Burns Local Motion surfboard made to surf “Pipeline” at the North Shore.  Rob Burns started Local Motion Hawaii in 1977 and these boards were specifically shaped to surf the waves that only the North Shore can produce.  This board went through a full glass off restoration by “Glassworks Hawaii” keeping the original shape and integrity of the board while maintaining its historical significance.   The board is deep dark orange throughout with the first Local Motion Kailua Hawaii logo used on the deck and bottom.  The rail line is trimmed in black pinstriping accenting the logos. The glassed on translucent red fin is positioned perfectly for the large deep waves that only Pipeline can produce.  Local Motion surfboards made in the 80’s had a lot more airbrushed designs on the deck, but its roots from the late 70’s were vibrant colors for sure, just like this one.  This board is up at “NO RESERVE” and ready to bring home the “Aloha Spirit” to you whether you’re going to surf it, hang it or both.  Good luck and Aloha!
