This is an amazing looking surf craft.  An incredible find.  It has the Gordie Big Shield logo with the serial # MJS 144 at the bottom of the shield. It has a monster size 4-inch balsa center stringer, a glass on white “D” fin and is Condition 9 by all standards.  The iconic Gordie label started at the base of the Huntington Beach Pier in California.  His boards stood out amongst many other name brands in the early 1960’s because of their large stringers and meticulous craftsmanship and this one is exactly that.    Pictures speak louder than words, and these photos tell it all.  100% original and at NO RESERVE!
