Description

MINT! MINT! MINT!    MUSEUM QUALITY!    VERY RARE!    NO RESERVE!

GREG NOLL / MICKEY DORA 2ND GENERATION BLACK DACAT WITH REMOVABLE FIN!

From a private West coast collection flown directly to Master Craftsman Randy Rarick in Hawaii for restoration.   This recently restored DA CAT came out beautiful and he is big boy standing at 10’5.  This prize collectible board is a perfect 10+ at a Smithsonian quality level.  Clear reveal foam around the logos, stringer, and channels.  The high gloss shine is breathtaking and clearly shows the depth of the step deck.   The combination of the step deck, channels and removable fin was the clear indication of the 2 generation Da Cat.   Greg and Mickey proved their Da Cat models were different than any other board, as they were different than any other surfers.  They were both true Mavericks from every sense of the word.  This board sits at Randy’s shaping room at Sunset Beach, North Shore Hawaii waiting for its new owner.  So bid for pride, bid for pleasure, but don’t let this bad boy get away.
