“This handshape custom team board was made in Hawaii for the giant waves that only  Makaha can produce.  Greg Noll and Chris Green were the shapers of these boards and Chris always put his initials C.G. somewhere on the board.   This board has #98 on the stringer and quite possible shaped by Greg. “ Quoted from ”Randy Rarick”.  It has a solid redwood stringer with offset t-band stringers.  Greg often made his guns this way for added strength and durability to handle the pressure of the massive Hawaiian waves.   It has a lime green tint rail wrap and bottom, which was also common for these boards of this era.  The guide to Vintage Surfboards and Collectibles has a similar board, same color rail wrap with a rounded tail and lesser condition with only a redwood center stringer,  valued at $8,000 -$10,000 pg 285.  (see photo included)  This board for sale has a much GUNNIER shape and sharper pintail with the offset t-band stringers, with serial number 98, making this board worth easy $15,000 - $17,500.   An absolute steal at $12,500.   This is a buy it out NOW!!  Don’t wait because we highly doubt it’s going to be there tomorrow.   Buy this hand shape gun with confidence and be the proud owner of a piece of history from one of the biggest Icons in surf history.
