Description

Rarer than the Da Cat models.  Less Slot bottoms were made than the first generation Da Cat models that can fetch up to $30k.  This historically significant Greg Noll Slot Bottom was beautifully restored by Master Craftsman Randy Rarick.   Classic Atomic logo, original chop stick fin with the fat man logo, black panels and red comp stipe is a reminder of the times of what they used to look like.  Felipe Pomar won his first world Championship on a refined version of the concave which we call, “The Greg Noll Slot Bottom”.  This board sparked the idea for the Da Cat.  Greg Noll and Mickey Dora liked the Slot bottom but needed to make it more of a nose rider.  So they added the silky smooth step deck and kept the channels,  hence the first generation Da Cat.   This is a must have in any Greg Noll collection.

Length 10’4.

Condition 9.5 out of 10 - Restored

Year 1965.

Pre Auction estimate $3,000 - $4,500.

Location: NJ
