100% ALL ORIGINAL AND UNMOLESTED!!  FIRST TIME ON THE AUCTION BLOCK!!   ROOTED FROM A CALIFORNIA COLLECTION!   This is a hand shape Dale Velzy Balsa Pig surfboard. Very legible logo down on the deck near the tail with a redwood tail block.   Very nice condition wooden glass on fin which is original and historically correct.  A piece of the nose busted off, see photos but the overall appearance of the balsa is quite clean considering its 60 plus years old.    This is one big bad boy coming down the face of the wave which I’m sure was Dale’s intentions, lol   “The Velzy Jacobs Balsa Pig’s were hand shaped by the master himself and Donald Takayama”.  Longboard Magazine, Premier issue pg. 22.
